アメリカ入国審査について 今回はアメリカ入国審査の厳しさについて、個人的な経験と情報を基にご紹介します。少しでも参考になれば嬉しいです。 現在のアメリカの状況 バイデン政権になってから移民受け入れが寛容になりました。そのため、永住権やビザ申請の許可が増えた一方で、アメリカに住みたい亡命者や移民が急増し、移民局は混乱しています。この混乱により、ビザプロセスも複雑化し、不法入国や移民を警戒する姿勢が強化されています。観光やビザでの入国でも、新しい情報を常に集めることが重要です。 円安の影響 1980年代からバブル崩壊後、9・11以前までは円は強かったため、日本人に対する寛容さがありました。しかし、現在の円安と日本からの仕事求める人の増加により、日本人の入国審査も厳しくなっています。アメリカでのビザ取得も年々難しくなっており、不法入国者に対する警戒が強まっています。 ハワイでの入国審査 ハワイでは売春と疑われて入国を拒否されるケースが急増しています。派手なブランド服やセクシーな下着を大量に持ち込むことは避けましょう。また、職業がインフルエンサーの場合、観光ビザではなく、仕事ビザが必要となります。観光目的であることを一貫して示すことが重要です。 観光での入国審査 観光でアメリカを訪れる場合はESTAが必要です。入国審査で聞かれる内容としては以下が一般的です： 英語が話せなくても問題ありませんが、滞在先に関する英語は予習しておくと良いです。仕事目的と疑われないように、大量の物品を持ち込まないようにしましょう。 ビザ保有者の場合 アーティストビザ保有時には以下の内容が尋ねられました： 学生ビザ（F-1）を持っている場合、英語が話せないと怪しまれることがあります。語学学校に通っているはずなのに英語ができないと、学んでいないと見なされるため、日頃から英語を使うようにしましょう。 永住権保有者の場合 グリーンカード保持者の入国審査は比較的スムーズですが、アメリカに6ヶ月以上滞在する必要があります。日本に長く滞在しすぎると、グリーンカードを剥奪される可能性がありますので注意が必要です。 まとめ アメリカ入国審査について、いくつかのステータスに応じた情報を紹介しました。ルールを守り、そのステータスに合った行動をしていれば、アメリカ入国は問題ありません。しっかりと準備し、安心して渡航してください。 追加情報：Global Entryとは？ Global Entryは、アメリカの税関・国境警備局（CBP）が提供するプログラムで、事前審査を通過した旅行者に対し、入国手続きの簡素化を図るものです。頻繁にアメリカを訪れるビジネスマンや旅行者にとって、時間と手間を省く便利な制度です。事前にオンラインで申請し、面接を通過すれば利用可能です。
